Lynne & Dans new garden
Lynne and Dan spent ages getting their garden done the way they wanted it and it looks FANTASTIC! This pic does it no justice whatsoever. Awesome

A bit burnt at this point
Me in the middle. Just about to stand up, go and lean on the railing and nearly fall to a choppy/slicey death under the boat.

Phil and Luth
Phil on the right and his wife Luth in the middle (hope I spelled that properly). Phil had the worlds coolest looking digital camera - it looked as tho' it would be at home as the main bit on a spy satelite.

Another bucket of ice please my good man
Me on left, Andy, a waiter. I swear the owners of these restaurents see us coming and think "A boatload of Gwai-Lo! Find all the alchol you can and keep it going. We will be able to put our kids through university after this!"

Unexploded Bombs
About 50 yards from the restaurent could be found this sign - very similar to the "Oooooo horrid spider" post in Sept 2004 in the archives. You can read the writing on the sign more easily if you click on the pic (as it says below......)

Jetty
The view from the frestaurent of the jetty thing (blue) that the water taxi's dropped us off at.

Water Taxi
At the restaurent we stopped at the boat could not get close enough to the docks to offload so they sent this groovy little water taxi to ferry us in and out - hows that for service.

Nearly died here (alright, so I exagerate......sue me)
Standing at the pointy bit, in almost exactly the same spot where I slipped on some spilt beer and nearly fell off the front. I landed with both legs through the safey net and was about half-a-second from going all the way out and having the boat runs over me, and probably being chopped to bits by the spinny things that make the boat move. All I got was a 6-inch wide circular bruise that took about 6 weeks to go away.

The square bit at the back
On the main deck of the boat (directly under the lady reading in the post below). Large fixed table with comfy seats all around, table usually coverid in crisps + dips + booze. YAY!

Top Deck
Standing nest to the guy steering the boat and looking over the back. Usually quiet here and an excellent place to chill and read in peace.

The pointy bit
View from the roof of the boat where the pilot/captain steers, looking over the front (the pointy bit in sailing language)
