Just got back from Tesco about an hour ago - went and did the weekly shopping. Spent too much as always but got a bargain on some wine.........................and other things.
Out to the car park....
Packed the car....
Get into the front seat....
Seatbelt on....
Start ignition....
Roll down the window....
Light a fag....
Put the car into reverse....
Start to reverse....
Glance in the rear-view mirror....
..........and spot the 10 ENORMOUS HIGHLY-EXPLOSIVE rockets I bought for the 5th of november slowly toppling towards my face.
NEVER MOVED SO FAST IN MY ENTIRE LIFE
I was outside of the car so quickly I broke about 9 laws of physics.
Still - they are ridiculously large rockets.

Woke up this morning and checked my email to find one from the National Lottery saying "Click on this link quickly, we have some exciting news about your online lottery ticket"
I had used Hurleys magic lottery numbers from Lost for the first time and was half convinced I had won Millions.
Back to earth with a crash. A tenner.
Happier to have won than not but.....................
..................back to work on Monday.

which is just fantastic. I liked it so much I bought the company.............well I went to iTunes and bought her EP. Sadly, bloody iTunes only lets you download in file format .aac which doesn't work on my iRiver, and you can't change it to mp3. Bugger.

A while back I signed up for the badsignal newsletter from comics writer Warren Ellis who has started (re-started) doing Podcasts.On the Apparat-1 podcast there is a track by Lauren Hoffman called "Another song about the darkness" which is just fantastic. Johnny Cash - Hurt
Now I hate country music but this song in incredible. Its a cover of the Nine-Inch Nails song "Hurt", and its much better that the original (in my opinion). The video was shot in the last couple of months before he died and when you watch you feel he knows it.
